Advocate; senior partner; worked as a company lawyer for the US company Union Oil (Unocal at present) from 1981 to 1982. From 1982 to 1985 she worked for Hewlett Packard Netherlands as a company lawyer. From 1985 to 1989 she was head of the legal department of Bull Netherlands B.V. (Bull Benelux N.V. at present). In February 1989 she joined Cordemeyer’s law firm as an attorney – at - law. She specializes in information technology law, advises and litigates amongst others on issues relating to (international) IT agreements, (international) distributor agreements, intellectual property rights, liability.

Publications and additional functions
Several publications in magazines and professional journals in the field of information technology law. Co-author of “Wegwijzer Automatisering en Recht” (Guide to Automation and Law); co-author and editor of “Werken met Source Code Escrow” (Working with Source Code Escrow), publised by Kluwer Rechtswetenschappen in 1990. Speaker at seminars. Hanneke Slager is an arbitrator, a legal expert and mediator connected to the Stichting Geschillenoplossing Automatisering (Foundation for the Settlement of Automation Disputes) in Rijswijk (www.sgoa.org)

She is member of the board of the SGOA since December 2002.

Hanneke Slager is a member of the board of the Stichting Scholengemeenschap Kennemer Lyceum since March 2002.

Since May 2005 member of the supervisory council of the SIDN, Stichting Internet Domeinregistraties Nederland(Foundation Internet Domainregistrations Netherlands).
