Carine Korteweg assists companies with mergers and acquisitions and advises clients on their company’s internal and external relations. Internal relations involve shareholder agreements, board and shareholders’ resolutions, management agreements, the powers and obligations (i.e. liability) of the board, supervisory board and shareholders, conflicts of interest and corporate housekeeping. External relations cover cooperation agreements, contracts for services, licence agreements and agency agreements.
Carine advises on, negotiates, assesses and drafts agreements and conducts court proceedings.
Carine studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and has been practising as a lawyer since 2002.
She joined Cordemeyer & Slager / Advocaten in March 2006. In 2008 Carine successfully completed the specialist course in company and business law at the Grotius Academy.
Carine is a member of the Corporate Litigation Association, and is also the chairman of the Supervisory board of De Federatie Foundation.
