Areas of law: employment law and codetermination law. Marion Hagenaars has a wide-ranging employment law practice, including areas of law not directly related to the IT sector. Her main clients include employers, employees and works councils.
She specializes in advising and litigating on employment conditions, employment contracts, contracts for services, directors under the articles of association, individual dismissals and collective redundancies, reorganizations and redundancy packages, the transfer of undertakings, employee representation, collective agreements law, competition clauses, working conditions, illness and reintegration.
Marion studied Dutch law at Utrecht University where she specialized in social law. She went on to complete a postgraduate course in employment law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has been working as a lawyer since 2002. Before joining Cordemeyer & Slager in February 2009 she worked for five years as a legal assistant with the Dutch Trade Union Confederation FNV.
Marion is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the Employment Law Association and the Association for Privacy and Law.
