Areas of law: IT law, intellectual property, contract law.
Teun Burgers studied Dutch law at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam where he specialized mainly in IT law, graduating with distinction in 2009. His thesis was on the subject of the transferability of virtual goods. Following his graduation Teun had a variety of commercial jobs with international FMCG companies before joining Cordemeyer & Slager / Advocaten in August 2010.
Teun is a member of the Netherlands Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR), has contributed to the book (in Dutch) ‘Recht en Web 2.0’ (2010), and regularly writes articles relating to his specialist disciplines.
