Veerle Cordemeyer

Veerle Cordemeyer specialises in corporate law. She advises and assists clients in respect of mergers & acquisitions (buy and sell-side), joint ventures and corporate (governance) advisory work. Veerle furthermore engages with drafting and negotiating IT and technology contracts, privacy law (GDPR) and procurement law.

Veerle finished her law studies at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam in 2014, where she specialized in private law, and was admitted to the bar in 2015. After finishing her studies, Veerle started her career at Clifford Chance where she specialised in corporate law. In this position she gained experience in mergers & acquisitions (buy and sell-side), joint ventures and corporate (governance) advisory work.

Veerle Cordemeyer  has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar Association: Information law (IT law) and Corporate law. On the basis of this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten training points each calendar year in each registered principal legal area, in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar.

Veerle joined Cordemeyer & Slager Advocaten as per March 2020.
