Wouter Huisman

Wouter Huisman joined Cordemeyer & Slager / Advocaten in 2017. Wouter mainly focusses on drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts between IT companies and their clients/suppliers, IT-procurement. He earned his Master’s degree in Private Law, with elective courses in the field of IT law. He wrote his thesis on the legal and regulatory considerations of blockchain. Wouter also completed the postgraduate specialization course Grotius Informatics Law (cum laude).

Wouter is a member of the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Informatietechnologie) and the Dutch Association for Procurement Law (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Aanbestedingsrecht).

Wouter Huisman has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar Association: Information law (IT law), Procurement law and Privacy law. On the basis of this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points each calendar year in each registered principal legal area, in accordance with the standards of the Netherlands Bar.
